A contact at EA agreed that I share this with a broader audience.

Hope you all had a great Christmas.

I wanted to let you all know that our General Manager, Fiona Sperry,
announced a new event in the Entertainment Industry Speaker series today.

The Entertainment Industry Speaker series is designed to bring the games,
film, tv, and music industries closer together in an environment to share
best practices & new ideas and meet key industry leaders in an informal
setting.

I thought it would be great to send round Skillset members for several
reasons:

- It’s at the ‘Game On’ Exhibition at the Science
Museum and is FREE ENTRANCE----(not the normal £8.50)

- Bing Gordon, EA’s Chief Creative Officer will be
speaking----he is probably EA’s best speaker and never fails to be inspiring

- He will be doing an ‘Open Forum’ ie Q&A --- always
lively and fun---and off the cuff

- EA are paying for free beers and soft drinks

- It would be cool for graduates to come to the event
and meet Industry leaders like, for example, Peter Molyneux or Iain
Livingstone and network.

I believe that this event will be advertised in MCV this week. Just to
confirm, this event is not a recruitment event---despite this email coming
from me. Fiona asked me to send round Skillset and encourage the leaders to
invite people from their organizations along and their contacts from
Universities. I have attached a poster, if you wish to advertise in your
businesses / email to your contacts.

Given, EA is paying for people to see the ‘Game On’ exhibition, (which is
great), providing free drink and a great speaker------thought it would be
worth sharing and attending.

If someone wants to come they have to be on the central guest list-----they
have to email HYPERLINK "mailto:events at ea.com"events at ea.com to attend.
